Quiet care plan for Northbridge pets.
A calmer day for shy, older or easily tired pets, planned around their notes and their pace.
Shy, older or easily tired

For Northbridge families.
A calmer day for apartment pets who prefer fewer friends.
A quiet care plan is for pets who prefer a slower day: shy dogs, older dogs who tire easily, cats who like company but not commotion, or any pet who does better with fewer friends and more rest.
We start with a conversation about how they like to spend their time, what worries them and what helps. Then we plan a day with more quiet time, one or two calm companions or none at all, and a carer nearby.
Quiet care plans work alongside drop-in days or regular days. We’ll keep checking in with you and adjust as we learn more about your pet.
How it goes.
Arrive
A quiet hello
A calm drop-off at a quieter time, with time to settle before anything else.
Morning
Gentle company
One or two calm friends, or a carer to sit with, in a quieter part of the room.
Midday
Plenty of rest
A soft bed in a quiet corner, with someone nearby.
Afternoon
At their pace
A short sniff walk, a gentle game or more rest, whichever they prefer.
For dogs, and for cats.
The same option, planned around who’s coming.
Dogs
- Smaller groups or a calm friend
- Short, gentle sniffing walks
- Extra rest and a soft bed in a quiet spot

Cats
- A covered bed and a hiding spot
- A carer who sits quietly nearby
- Never picked up if they don’t want to be

Being honest about what suits them.
Some pets blossom with a quieter day. Others are happier at home with a sitter, and that’s fine too. We’ll tell you honestly what we see and what we think would help your pet most.
If your pet has a health condition, takes medication or is recovering from something, talk to your vet about whether daycare suits them right now, and share their advice with us.
From Northbridge to Fern Court.
Walk over with your dog, or bring your cat in their carrier, drop off from 8:30 am and head to work. Collect on your way home before 6:30 pm.
Walk-over dogs
A walk over is a great way to arrive. Keep it calm in the last few minutes so the hello is easy.
Apartment cats
Apartment cats can be new to busy rooms. A hello visit helps them get used to us gently.
Shared pickups
If a neighbor or dog walker collects, tell us their name and number at drop-off.
What to bring.
- Lead and harness, or their carrier
- Their usual bed or blanket, if it helps
- Food in a labeled container, if needed
- Notes on what helps them relax
