For Westmere families.

A calmer day if your pet finds busy rooms a lot.

A quiet care plan is for pets who prefer a slower day: shy dogs, older dogs who tire easily, cats who like company but not commotion, or any pet who does better with fewer friends and more rest.

We start with a conversation about how they like to spend their time, what worries them and what helps. Then we plan a day with more quiet time, one or two calm companions or none at all, and a carer nearby.

Quiet care plans work alongside drop-in days or regular days. We’ll keep checking in with you and adjust as we learn more about your pet.

How it goes.

  1. Arrive

    A quiet hello

A calm drop-off at a quieter time, with time to settle before anything else.

  2. Morning

    Gentle company

One or two calm friends, or a carer to sit with, in a quieter part of the room.

  3. Midday

    Plenty of rest

A soft bed in a quiet corner, with someone nearby.

  4. Afternoon

    At their pace

A short sniff walk, a gentle game or more rest, whichever they prefer.

For dogs, and for cats.

The same option, planned around who’s coming.

Dogs

  • Smaller groups or a calm friend
  • Short, gentle sniffing walks
  • Extra rest and a soft bed in a quiet spot

Cats

  • A covered bed and a hiding spot
  • A carer who sits quietly nearby
  • Never picked up if they don’t want to be

Being honest about what suits them.

Some pets blossom with a quieter day. Others are happier at home with a sitter, and that’s fine too. We’ll tell you honestly what we see and what we think would help your pet most.

If your pet has a health condition, takes medication or is recovering from something, talk to your vet about whether daycare suits them right now, and share their advice with us.

From Westmere to Fern Court.

Drop off after the school run from 8:30 am, and collect before 6:30 pm.

  • After the school run

Busy mornings can wind dogs up. A few calm minutes before drop-off help.

  • Young, busy dogs

Tell us how much energy they have. We’ll plan groups and rest to match.

  • Family pickups

If different family members collect, tell us who’s coming each day.

What to bring.

  • Lead and harness, or their carrier
  • Their usual bed or blanket, if it helps
  • Food in a labeled container, if needed
  • Notes on what helps them relax
